To top it off he comitts suicide. Is this the way that will help Pakistan and Pakistanis?
The same cartoon issue that got big thanks to Palestinian shenanigans.
See! we must understand, that any Pakistani who follows Palestinian ways, will suffer and eventually die just like so many Palestinians have died in vain.
Pakistani dies in German prison
** Germany has confirmed that a Pakistani student has died while being held in custody in Berlin. ** Amer Cheema, 28, hanged himself while alone in his prison cell, a spokeswoman for the German Justice Ministry said.
Mr Cheema had been accused of threatening the editor of the Die Welt newspaper after it printed cartoons caricaturing the Prophet Muhammad.
Some MPs in Pakistan have called for a debate on Mr Cheema’s death after his family said he was tortured.
The BBC’s Ray Furlong, in Berlin, says the torture claims are highly improbable. Torture is illegal in Germany and even the suspicion of torture would create a huge scandal, he says.
The German authorities say Mr Cheema body will be returned to Pakistan for burial after an investigation into his death.
The caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad, first published in a Danish newspaper, caused uproar in the Islamic world as Islam traditionally forbids images of the Prophet.
There were widespread protests in Pakistan which left five people dead.
A number of western media, including Die Welt, chose to republish the cartoons to uphold the principle of freedom of expression.
** ‘Noose from clothes’ **
A spokeswoman for the German Justice Ministry, Juliane Baer-Henney, said there was no indication that anyone else had been involved in Mr Cheema’s death, the Associated Press news agency reports.
“He used his clothing to fashion a noose and hanged himself on the grill over his window.”
She gave no reason as to why he might have committed suicide.
His body was found at 0835 on Wednesday morning, German officials say, two and a half hours after he had been woken by guards.
Mr Cheeba was arrested in March.

Ok, so this kid was a pakistani student in germany, so he had to be either rich or smart, and then he goes up to some german publisher with a death threat! Wtf? Ok, so we argue his "Islamic values" lead him to threaten (terrorize) a publisher for publishing indecent cartoons of a holy figure. Then in jail he commits suicide which is 180 degrees opposite of "Islamic values"... what does all of this mean???
I am Pakistani and Im not like that so I know all Pakistanis are not like that. This pathetic life story shows how much REAL RELIGIOUS commitment this clowns have.

antiobl, don't worry there are thousands of Pakistanis who are building their community and Pakistan, if he really committed suicide then one less weak person we have.

The family of the deceased insists he was tortured and the Pakistan embassy says there’s no reason to believe so and it’s the family’s own conclusion. http://dawn.com/2006/05/06/top5.htm

It is still not clear that he commited suicide-
1-He was brave enough to attack the bureue chief and could not possibly be low enough to kill himself-
2-He attacked the bureu chief for religious reasons, and i dont know a religious person who just kill himself like this (please no suicide reference here).

^^ sometimes in the west, when the killer is protected by the authorities…it’s a called a “suicide”
it’s not cause torture doesn’t exist any more officially in europe…that it does not exist practically sometimes…and it’s not cause police ain’t supposed to kill people, that it never happen…but if somebody decided it is a suicide…i’m damn sure those poor people in pak will have very much trouble changing that

I wonder why these fundamentalists come to western countries in the first place. Simple, if you do not believe in the idealogy and concepts (freedom of speech or whatever) of the west, dont go there, einstiens! And people like this 'Bao Bihari' who advocate the killings on religious basis, kitney log maroo gey, every single person in the west?
In the end he showed he was mentally unstable, and committed suicide, but has succeeded in making sure life in Germany for every other Pakistani student is flushed down the $hithole.

Looks like this person was seriously mixed up, on one stage going to the extreme to threaten somebody over religious conviction and on the other hand commiting suicide which is prohibited by the same religion.
what are chances of foul play over there? its very fishy indeed.
