Run Rate of 1.6 / over. Pak 51/2.
As predicted, Naveed Latif and Taufeeq Umar out early.
Now Inzy and Younis will have to hold the team together.
Could the score tick any slower ?
Yawn.

Youhanna to the rescue again. He is now fast becoming the premier batsmen of Pakistan overtaking Inzamam as the most consistent of the lot. Hope he gets his ton tomorrow.

younis khan once again proving that he shud not be dropped from the team…
youhanna - what wud pakistan do without him
http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/confused.gif
inzamam - wake up already, its been a long time since he played a vital knock
razzak - handy once again
naveed and taufiq - why wasnt afridi there?
Youhana is the recent Miandad - he has always got it down.
It is very rare to see him fail.
However i would like to see him in the 1 down position.
We need a solid bat.
Inzi down in 2 down.
With Younis bringing up the rear.
But they did well.
Both Younis and Youhana, solid innings by both the youngesters.
What has happened to inzi?
He sucked even against BD!
Ours is not to reason why;
Ours is but to do and die
As expected, both those so-called openers failed. Its easy to get runs against weak times but if a side has even a slihtly decent bowling attack then that is enough to show what a player is made of.
They may turn out to be good players but not for another 2 seasons. Imran Nazir, Imran Farhat, Shadab Kabir and Ali Naqvi are players who can open for Pakistan for years to come and one of these guys should be opening the innings with Saeed Anwar.
Shahid Afridi should be opening in Sharjah. Youhana as usual played well, hopefully he'll reach his century tomorrow.
** 2nd Day**
Pakistan 1st Innings 493 all out
** Youhanna 146
Latif 150 **
west Indies 54/0
well played Youhanna and Latif
well batted youhana and latif…
not well bowled waqi ad shoaib…
looking at the figures of saqi, razi and kaneria these two bowlers look real bad…
or was gayle just too good
End of day 3, westindies 325 for 5, brilliant batting by westindies, almost every one did well. as expected, the wicket was horrible for the bowlers, kind of like India, only spinners had success.
I guess pakistan should have fielded first, maybe the fast bowlers would have come in handy.
Thank you, come again

well on the 4th day, no doubt Pakistan played like winnin the test, instead of savin, as they were positive, they got West Indies with a goood lead, n to make the test match for a possible result they played quickly to get tht big lead, no doubt Pakistan dominated the 4th day, n good work by WAQAR ...... second innings started with Saqlain, well thts interesting for sure, kahan gaya Shoaib
~ mera Junoon, meri DIL KI BAAT hai!!!!
I didn’t see the match video or live, so my only access is thru scorecard on CricInfo. I did notice that in the first innings Shoaib didn’t get any wickets.
Why isn’t Wasim Akram playing?
And in the second innings, Saqlain started the bowling attack? Wow! That must be a sight. With “World’s fastest bowler in our line up” can it get any more amazing?

Waste of space and resources. Akram is not playing because he is injured.
Masha Allah, Masha Allah
3 wickets for shoaib already an what a wonderful bowling this has been by him....
10.3 over 6 maiden 18 runs and 3 wickets....
he had a spell of 5 continous maiden overs....
at his best, shoaib is superb....
Pakistan beat West Indies by 170 runs on the fifth and final of the first test on Monday. West Indies, requiring 342 for victory, were 171 all out in their second innings.
Abdur Razzaq produced inspired spells of pace bowling to guide Pakistan to a 170-run victory over West Indies on the fifth and final day of the first test on Monday.
West Indies, needing 342 to win, collapsed in the second session, losing the last seven wickets for just 25 runs in 13 overs.
Fiery Shoaib Akhtar took the heart out of the West Indies batting, returning with career-best figures of five for 25 while medium pacer Abdur Razzaq hastened the end of a tentative West Indies side with four wickets to seal victory by tea.
Congratulations to the team. Well played, even Shoaib.

nice game
http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/ok.gif
the final day was very interesting…
shoaib really pulled the game back in pakistan’s favor…
but i think rashid latif deserved the MoM…
Congrats to Pakistan
http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/ok.gif
Shoaib really bowled well with fact pace, but Rashid should be the Man of the match with his 150 and 47 n.o., 4 cathes and 2 run outs

The People’s Van is going to get you, little shmucks,It is going to get you.
Who ever said Shoaib was wasteful, IN YOUR FACE!
Regardless of the lifeless sharjah pitch, our fast bowlers got through taking wickets.
Thank you, come again
