I am not defending his action. He SHOULD have bowled Hammad but I am defending the reasons presented here. Why us Pakistanis are looking for conspiracy everywhere?
I am not looking for a conspiracy but at the same time the world cup and now this match has raised my suspicions. What was Hammad doing there especially as wahab was clearly struggling? I am the last person who goes looking for conspiracy but I also dont like to defend the indefensible.

Not for 20-25 matches IMO in Afridi HAS to perform worse with the ball and team has to lose series after series.

Am I saying that afridi's place is under threat, but he certainly is obstructing development of all rounders. Unless I see him giving more chances to all rounders or a logical explanation is made as to why he doesn't let bowling all rounders bowl much than I am afraid that view is not going to go away.

theek ha yaar....i dont think he was scared of hammad...he shd not be...there is not reason for it...but I was just frustrated by lala....i mean to ignore your new young player so blatantly in a not-so-important match considering pak was in commanding position and wahab was struggling big time!!!...cant believe it...shame on afridi....what about showing leadership by encouraging your new players and giving them support...and my fear is not baseless...over the years i have seen so many talented players being wasted because of such cheap tactics...that is all...afridi said that we need new blood..well support them lala jee....i know i am making too much noise about something that may not be that important but to me the real leadership is to support new players, stand behind them, give them chances, and encourage them because they are nervous and shy...

It is just a first match yaar. If Hammad is not given a proper run in this series THEN I would agree that okay he was not being treated fairly. but it is too soon to conclude that.
