Exactly, well said. When batsmen build an innings we call it tuk tuk and get bored, when they get out playing rash shots trying to hit 4’s and 6’s we swear at them for lack of patience and not knowing how to build an innings. It was a very professional display today by both Asad and Misbah.

I think it is all about finding the right balance between hitting and tuktuking too much in the middle overs. While Miandad, Yousuf, Misbah and Inzi are/were all good consolidators, Miandad and Inzi were clearly better than both Misbah and Yousuf at finishing off games

About Asad at this point we can safely say that he is a good consolidator

I think ? is confusing consolidation with ability to finish off the game
