But please just dont forget australia yet. It wasnt that long ago when we got a phaintee from them. And it might look like we are ready to face them now.. but really we are not ready yet. We are winning against mediocre performing teams. Playing australia is like playing the final round of a difficult video game…

I think at the end of VB cup, Pakistan quite learned how to handle them and that helped them in India too…

well amazing performance by pak once again! afridi was just superb to say the least but i still think he has alot more to offer, if he plays a little more sensibly, wot can i say its just our desires lol
hmm bazid played well for his 66 but i think pak already has a very well balanced team so even he did performed well, i dont think he will get another chance any time sooner.
YOYO was as usual at his best, showing elegance, great touch, middling everything, but a foolish stroke at the end, which was kinda sad.
younis just keeps on building his confidence every time he goes out to bad, i still remember his downfall or just a bad day we can say at mohali, but he really proved many of us wrong and does seem to be a very good leader, i wish him very best of luck.
Razler as expected went crazy but wot can i say it was a very good catch by browne, not easy to keep so close to the wickets off a medium pacer.
Lastly, i guess little master (kamran akmal) just showed moin khan his way out of pak team lol... i feel sad for moin but its just his end days has come and he himself should realize its time for younger players to lead up front.
hmmm but he did recalled moiin's 3 sixes which he hit off Ian Bishon in sharjah i guess if im not wrong. i say little master is giong to get stronger and stronger from here onwards! i wish him luck as well...

Mohsin, you are right about those sixes Moin hit off Ian Bishop. Those were the days :-) Anyways Great effort by Kamran at the end. All clean hits. But I think you are a little unfair to Afridi. He already is a lot more consistent than he ever was.
Umar Bhai- I missed your post regarding Bazid because of internet connection. I will reply to you at the end insha'allah as my net is showing a lot of nakhrays :-) Though now you have an idea that he is quite a capable player.

Wah Akmal Wah! I never seen him hitting sixes like that. I thought he was more of a stroke player and his compaq techinique wasn't designed for big hits.This was the reason coaches promoted him up in the batting order so that Akaml could be utilized effectively in the first fifteen overs! Wow I'm so glad to see him finishing the over with bang bang and bang! After the departure of Akram and moin, we were little thin on hard hitting tailenders. We were too depended on Razzaq.I hope Akmal improves his batting! The future of Pakistan cricket looks very promising . Mashallah

well saby im not taking anything away from afridi, he is just been super amazing, i mean i just never expected him to bounce back in such manner, but its just seeing more disciplined, and conventional stroke maker for past some years hmm sometimes just makes me super pissed at afridi but I do understand its his game and we really cant change him or even if we try to for that matter it will be certainly a huge set back for pak bcz he is sorta talent that cant be seen anywhere else in the world. lol

Alright I gotta admit here. The Ultra motion showed Shabbir's arm action was little jerky! Even the commentators kinda agreed he may have to work more on his action. It seems like Shabbir may be reported again!

Yes only thing we can hope for that he brings some selectivity in his strokes which he has started to do so. The ease with which he hits sixes so frequently is just amazing. Hope he will continue to do so in future and play consistent match-winning parts in wc 2007.

well i dont think he will be reported, he is been cleared and i dont think he jerks or wotever, its just some ppl dont like the fact which is about pak producing top notch bowlers one after another ..its just that simple!

how are they going to report him again, he was just cleared by the ICC.

He may not be reported now but they played the replay again and again of his action. ICC could bring up the issue. Getting cleared by ICC doesn’t mean you can’t be ever reported for a suspect action.
