After success in the 2nd ODI , I believe I deserve to open new thread :slight_smile:

Hope they kick SHahzad out else I fear he will score something today and remain chipko for next 10 more matches.

HAfeez bowling in good rhythm is great news for PK. This gives great balance to our team.

SL won the toss and chose to bat. Seems they are going to score around 250 . That will be a good target and will test our team chasing.
Shahzad and Imad out . Imam and faheem in. Hope both of them paly well to give some boast for the bench strength.

I was hoping SL would put Pakistan to a large chase so we can see how the batting goes in 2nd inning. But they are done for 208.

Imam-ul-haq, Inzi’s nephew, got the ODI cap and started the inning for Pak. But I dont think its a good idea to have Pak opened by two Left-handers. It would be way better if either hafeez or Sarfraz had opened with Fakhar and let the young newbie come down later at a relaxed position.

Hafeez reported for suspect action yet again - ESPNcricinfo

For the third time in three years, Mohammad Hafeez finds his bowling action under scrutiny by the ICC. Soon after the third ODI against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi, Hafeez’s action was reported to be suspect by match officials. He now has 14 days to have his action tested though until the results of that test are known, he can continue bowling. But it leaves Pakistan to once again ponder the prospect of doing without a man who is, in some situations, central to the balance of their ODI bowling attack.

And so if he doesnt bowl, I dont see a prospect of him in the team. He should be replaced by Fawad Alam who is rusting with an average of 57 in domestic

Hafeez is a very steady batsman. In Misbahs absenfe, we need someone who can steady the ship, stabilize the batting and bring a sense of calm to the lineup
