Except for the 1985 Benson & Hedges Cup (billed as MINI WORLD CUP at the time) which India won (Pakistan was squarely thrashed in the FINALS) , I don't think any of the above tournaments involved all teams.

sharjah doesnt count, those were fixed matches :)

Yeh 1999 Bangalore...kaun si tournament thi bhai.

Sharjah tournaments count for jack........I actually remember only one tournament because Javed Miandad hit a last ball six. (which ofcourse was a huge deal at the time). Other than that...the tournaments in the desert served only to entertain some fat-ass Sheikhs, bollywood celebrities and underworld dons.

Oh...and btw, talking of Sharjah , I just recalled there was Rothmans Cup which India won after defeating Pakistan (Shivramakrishnan ran through Pak batting)...where is that in the list.

I am just sticking with finals...dont make me come up with List where Pak humiliated india and didnt let them get to final stages of tournament...i think since u are not from protected generation(the 90's kids who didnt see their team slapped over and over again thanks to India's hiding behind political doors)...i am sure u remember them well........

Banglore 99, i will give u few more minutes and u will remember that too.

but I am really getting curious about Bangalore 1999.

Just checked Cricinfo archives...can't seem to find any ODI tournament where India met Pak in the finals in 1999 in Bangalore.

Maybe I am missing something....bata do mere bhai...

But the fact I don't remember it means it must not have been that big a deal.

^ wow...I still have absolutely zero recollection of this series. When did this happen ? Anyways, seems to be just the usual triangular sort of series. Not sure how intensely this particular series was followed.

In the three matches that Pak-India played in that series, Pakistan won by 143 runs, 7 wickets, and 123 runs. No wonder you have no recollection of that! If I were you, I’d want to erase those memories too. :mocking:

How intensely was this series followed????...

This was series that was arranged by Bcci in Nov-Dec 1998, when they saw Pak at their weakest since last time both countries had a full tour....Pak hoped/wanted a full tour of India since 1989...and guess what...for one fking reason or another Indians stayed away from Playing a full series with Pak...then all of sudden, AUS tours Pak, thrashed Pak in ODI"s and TEsts...Zim comes to Pak, wins both test and ODI's...and the brave neighbours realize that this is the best time to Play with pak.....so all of sudden in Nov-Dec 1998...India asks Pak to Visit India for a full tour............What happen next was something very familiar to people of your generation...they waited whole decade, hoping that Loser status will go away....and asked Pak to Play when they thought Pak was at it weakest.......6 international games were played between two countries.......Pak winning 5 of them......So your generation, Loser when u tried staying away from Pak after 1989.....and Loser in 1999 when you decided that its time to take Pak on....*Damn It feels good to be Pakistani..........
