Most likely pathan wil bowl him slow deliveries. Off late he has been dismissing him on slow deliverires.

the pitch has been slow. Not the ideal batting wicket however Pakistan players did go in their shell after a good start.

I think it was an excellent move to send Afridi up the order.
Pakistan has wickets in hand...so even if Afridi had fallen cheaply...Pakistan has batsmen to follow. But if Afridi stays there for 10 overs...he will change all equations.
If they had held back Afridi till the end...he wouldn't have got enough overs to bat.
