^ not a bad suggestion but I would change it slightly
Probably a better system would be to award 1 bonus point for every 4 runs conceded less than 50 and vice versa
so in your example Asif's points will be 20 + (26/4) or 20 + 6.5 = 26.5 or *26 *(to make it simpler)
Rana's points will be 20 + (-19/4) or 20 - 4.75 = 15.25 (or 15 to make it simpler)
I believe this is a fairer reflection of how well the two bowled.
I agree with your other suggestion of awarding 25 bonus points
- for each 100 runs scored (maybe 10 points for each 50 runs)
- for each 4-wicket haul
and
- 5 dismissals by w/k (catches + stumpings)
The bonus points for MOM should perhaps be 40 (50 is just too many)
