A first innings lead of 100+ will be very handy on this pitch

Hafeez is simply not test material. It would be a huge disaster if he’s allowed to open in tests against RSA.

Taufeeq + Khurram/Azhar (his form is a big worry)/Jamshed should open in tests. would even try Asad Shafiq

It is all about survival now.Winning perhaps is out of the Q

Pakistan’s best hope (if they cannot dismiss Zimbabwe cheaply tomorrow morning) is to slow down the rate of scoring by their batsmen so that Zimbabwe cannot declare before Tea.

My guess is we will have to bat out 4-4.5 sessions to save the test.

most likely we will be chasing 300+ … a tall order surely given our top 3 batsmen and long tail
