2 test matches are not fun at all and 2-Test series should be scrapped imo
would have been better to play 3 tests, 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is

pathetic shameless Pakistan board. Pakistan cricket has zero credibility among international circles due to our board. and i am saying all of this due to Pak cricket schedule. just check how many test matches will Pakistan play for next 12 months. between May 2017 and Aug 2018 Pak will play 6 test matches and of those 6, two against Zimbabwe. India, South Africa, new zeland, Australia, all have refused to play with pakistan. England finally agreed to play but only 2 test matches and gave 5 test matches to india summer 2018. what a slap on Pakistan face. we drew last england series 2-2 and it was so competitive but English board insulted sethi and gave Pakistan only 2 test matches … and that too after some begging.
so in a period of 16 months, Pak will play only 6 test matches…India will probably play at least 14 test matches in that period.
but obviously no one in Pak will raise a voice about this as we are busy arranging fake home matches by spending millions of dollars.

It is quite shameful that PCB with all its problems and not being able to play at home took Pakistan to number one team in the world, won the champions trophy and has an immaculate record lately in the T/20’s, How dare they, must find something to criticise them. Oh yes England invited them for only two tests how awful that also only two years after a full tour and then they came to Dubai to play a series. It is really bad compare that with previous years when they were invited by England once every four years. Do they think highly of Pakistan? surely not. Let’s look at zero credibility only a long time ago like a year ago both NZ and Australia invited them for a tour. Shameful that they have not invited them again this year. Tch Tch. And in the last few years we have only played about three series with SA. Absolutely disgusting. And look India has not invited us for a series for a very long time. tch tch. Doob marnay ka muqam hai.

if this was another country facing such hardship and producing such results we would have been praising them to sky. But than we are Pakistanis we do like to do such things.

but sir jee, despite your long speech, you did not answer the main question I posed: after all good things which Pak team has achieved and you mentioned above in your post, why is Pak only paying 6 tests in next 16 months and of those 2 against Zimbabwe?
and whose responsibility is this to secure more test matches for Pakistan? last I knew, it is PCB’s responsibility. every test nation team will play more matches than us in those 16 months. as a matter of fact, after Champions trophy, everyone is playing. Bangladesh, Sri lanka, England, India, South africa, hell even WI playing non stop but we are just sitting. isnt this shameless PCB’s responsibility
and with due respect, rest of your post is irrelevant to my question. i never questioned achievements of Pakistan team, so not sure what is your point. but just to answer your post, Aus invited us after 7 years i believe…7 years sir jee, so whats big deal? england invited us last year after 6 long years. PCB has been a total failure in securing enough test matches for a long time. remember, ICC does not really set future tours for different countries anymore. it is every board’s responsibility to secure matches for its team and PCB is a total failure.

SL tour and Windies tour after that was also not on cards neither was the tour to England till a few months ago, things worked out and they will regardless of what you think. Aus invited us after 7 years before that they played at least two series with us one in England and one in Dubai. Third one in Aus, three series in 7 years is not bad. trouble is that you want a series every year with all the countries in the world. Just not going to happen. Pak cricket has flourished under the most difficult conditions and will continue to do so. try and appreciate the good things as well only being critical all the time is no good.

PCB has been terrible in scheduling enough test series for a very very long time. This has been a problem for sometime. Even WI/SL gets more high profile series than us.
I am not saying that we should play against Aus, Eng or SA every year but when we dont get invited for long 6-7 years, it is a matter of concern no matter how you look at it. and how many times have we played against SA in SA in last 6-7 years? i think, only once. We keep on playing against SL all the time. Most of our series are 2 test match series. whom shd i criticize for that?
I am raising one specific topic: why are we only playing 6 test matches in 16 months and of those, 2 against Zim? this is a schedule which a team like Afghanistan shd expect not Pakistan. what has PCB done to alleviate this situation? and you are not answering that question sir jee.

my problem is that I do see Pakitan test team both in stature and profile above WI, SL, BD and NZ but we get treated by every board and ICC as if we are in the bottom of this low end pool. Fine we are not SA, India, Aus and England but we shd get better and more series oppts against quality teams. Simple as that. and i hold PCB 200% responsible for lack of good and enough test series for us in last 10 years or so. they shd be fired for not doing No 1 task of their job for so long. all they do is to keep on scheduling boring series with SL or WI

it is easy to be a keyboard jihadi and criticise everything and everyone. tell me in the last 2 years which team apart from India has Pakistan not played a series against? As for your specific point I said that the three series now were also arranged recently further ones will also be arranged.
