Time is also a factor. If Lanka bat for 50 overs tomorrow then they should not lose this game. Anything over 4 RPO is doable but not very easy on a wearing, low bounce day 5 pitch esp. if you lose early wickets. Then it is more about survival resulting in attritional boring cricket

Sarfraz gone . They were looking good for a vicotry togther. Hope hassan can make quick fire 25-30 to wrap up the game. Wicket is turning huge though

He is also the first left arm spinner to take 400 test wickets

And people should remember that not just Pakistan but also the current Sri Lankan batting line up is relatively inexperienced at test level esp. when compared to other teams such as India, England, Australia and South Africa

this is the same sri lankna team whom Indians thrashed so bad in sri lank just a month ago in all 3 test matches. all 3 test matches were so one-sided that comments were made by international cricketers that we shd have 2 tier system or something similar as this current sri lankan squad did not qualify to play test cricket against top test teams.
Actually, Zimbabwe also beat this pathetic lankan squad in lanka in 5 ODI series by 3-2 just few months ago.
and the lankan squad which came to dubai is even more weaker as their super start Matthews is not playing and yet, we lost to them so shamefully…no wonder we dont get any offers from top test teams to play against them and our test schedule is empty this year.

it is not the first time sarfraz has acted in an idiotic fashion and lost a test match for us…always try to take risky singles or play stupid risky shots at crucial moments
his problem is that he is always in a superman/hero mode. well, he is not a super man and he is not as talented as dhoni and sooner he comes to term with this reality, it will be better for him and for Pakistan. trying to tale risky singles, playing stupid risky shots at cruicla moents

Isn’t the bowling of Pak team also mediocre ? Amir can’t get wickets a lot of the time yet keeps getting selected on some hype tht he is the best there is. I feel we would’ve fared better even with Junaid Khan. How does Abbass keep getting selected is beyond me. There’s gotta be better bowlers but parchi system and rishtaydaris and sifarishi culture won’t get us far

what next 2 test matches? it was supposed to be 3 test matches series but then sri lankan board refused and forced it to a 2 test match series. our board obviously is pathetic with no respect and agreed to it and made a lame excuse why it became a 2 test series from 3…
