Wow just one wicket fell today and they scored around 230 runs. Even if they couldn't take wickets, Pakistan didn't let SL score freely. I think SL is going to bat another hour or so to try to get close to 300. If that happens draw is on the cards. This pitch got nothing for the bowlers. So playing out three sessions shouldn't be that difficult.

Well I think match is in SL favour 60-40 now
Because we are batting last which can be really tough and if YK and Misbah fails then we can even lose the match

I wouldn't call it equal. Pakistan has much better bowling attack which they displayed on first day and lost it completely on 4th day. After the two centuries we bundled up in 50 runs.
SL dominated last two days and had clear edge.
If there is a team that would be nervous to go in the second test, it would be Pakistan. Lets hope Ajmal will be potent on Dubai's wicket.

I think srilanka's negative approach toward test cricket made it draw. they took too much time to make a lead they wished to make, and was not ready to take a single bit of risk. when they crossed 200, they should have sped up scoring runs keeping in mind they have 5 wickets in hands so we could see a response from pakistan to a good lead with good amount of time.
it suggests they were playing with the mind they cannot win the match and are saving a lost match. this is negative approach and is not good for test cricket as well.

Asian captains rarely go for the win, their first choice is not to lose. Misbah would've done the same.

Misbah would have tried to do same but, you know, our inconsistent batting would have made it impossible. So in a funny way, we are good for test cricket :D

I dont think SL had a clear edge on the last two days. The pitch was not responsive and if SL made a big total in the second innings, Pakistan also gave a very firm reply. Edge would have been if they had won it or Pakistan would have struggled to draw it.

You know the pitch was totally flat when Ajmal could not get a wicket in the 2nd Innings
We need to get more bowler friendly pitch next match to make sure that Ajmal is lethal
