Yasir Shah to Thirimanne, 1 run, taken? Taken says Shehzad. The umps are going for a second opinion, but the soft signal is not out. This was tossed up on middle, Thirimanne goes for a big slog sweep, didnt hit it cleanly. Shehzad ran forward, dives catches it well enough but it pops out if his hand - clear evidence of that - dribbles along the turf and even hits his chin! Then nestles back in the crook of his elbow and it claims it. Shouldnt have done that, really

6.20 pm Thats 20 minutes overtime, but Pakistan have put in an otherwise stunning performance on the field. Dinner break is obviously going to be cut short, but Pakistan won;t be complaining. They have restricted Sri Lanka to 256 after Lahiru Thirimanne struck a solid 90. Sri Lanka were 142 for 2 in the 31st over when the pressure began to show on them. Mathews fell cheaply. Chandimal played a rash shot after a message come in from the dressing room. The lower middle order could not accelerate thereafter. A lot of that has to do with** Pakistan keeping to stringent plans, and their fielding was outstanding. **Saved at least 25-30 runs
