90 all out in the first innings and 165/1 at present in the second knock!!

Is it down to:

A- the pitch easing up a bit
B- some serious *'jhaar' *or scolding to the players from the captain and coach
C- some inspired words from Younis
D- all of the above

^ If captain had a good score then he might have said/scolded players, it must’ve come from coach

None of the above, just one factor, It is Pakistani team, depends which one turns up at the ground. :)

century for Fawad :k: - very well played knock… stop-gap measure of bringing him in as an opener has worked in this instance but we still need a specialist opener - esp. in test matches.

after following Pakistan team for so many years you are still asking this question :)

Came back home really late last night and honestly speaking didn't bother to watch the match after the day 1 disaster. Went online this morning on cricinfo expecting a 250-300+ Srilankan lead and Pakistan 30-2 at the end of the day.

Really happy for Fawad Alam. Hopefully Pakistan can give a 250+ target whcih would be challenging in the final innings.

But this performance tops anything that I have seen from the unpredictable Pakistanis over the past 20 odd years esp. if we do go on to win the game. You don't often see sides winning a test match after getting bowled out for less than 100 in the first. That almost never happens. This is taking unpredictability to a new level

But first things first, SriLanka can still win the game and the series. We need to bat sensibly and get as many runs as we can. If Pakistan bat all day tomorrow we will have a lead close to 300.

MASHA ALLAH,, what enormous recovery from Pakistan.. well played.. Fawad... it was excellent.. Khurrum Manzoor did pretty good as well...
For a change :) 85/1 is a good first wicket partnership for Pakistan.

This is definitely taking unpredictability to a new level :).. now we only need to make another 200 odd runs.. and INSHA ALLAH we will be set for the game..
