SA should've declared at 250, I don't know why they went on to play, they could've easily finished the game today and have a day off tomorrow.
With Pakistan cricket...no one is never sure including ourselves...so thats why SA took the more sure path and declared with a lead of 450 runs...they think, plan and play better... :D
PS: SA might have not wanted the ODI type designs of Razzaq & Haider... :D
Umar Akmal started explosively against Aus and NZ (both away tours) averaging 60+ after his first 5 or 6 tests. Some people even started comparing him to Miandad. But it has all been downhill since. He did nothing of note on the english tour and has generally struggled against SA. Not surprisingly his test average has dropped to 35.73 (13th test)
Pakistan have bossed this session and I dare say, we could be seeing something special here. South Africa are feeling the heat. 167 more runs to play with, and mind you, they are not too far from Pakistan's tail, but these 2 have shown tremendous nous out there. All four results are possible going into the last session.
