Not really…you have to choose between Umar A and Azhar…
In my humble opinion Umar is not clicking …so better to rest him…and include Azhar who has a lot of potential since he faced english bowlers in english condition better than Umar A did.
If we open with Taufeeq or Farhat the number 3 will be there within the first 5 overs, therefore lets open with Azhar Ali and Hafeez, Younis, Moyo, Umar, Misbah, Adnan, + four bowlers
Oye yaar...its not the players...playing the ball is not enough...there is something beyond to win matches... :D
PS: Depending on the quality and experienced players...the logic say we must have won the last and the final ODI and so the series...when we had enhanced batting like Yousuf
& Younis...it did not happen...so there is no guarantee that quality and experienced players will ensure the win...hmmmmmmmmm... :)
A New Captain. So he is best friends with Misbah so he can open. Hafeez, Farhat or Umar or Asad Shafiq. I think they should make Asad Shafiq the Keeper.
Mohammad Hafeez
Taufeeq Umar
Younus Khan
Mohammad Yousuf
Misbah-Ul-Haq
Azhar Ali
Adnan Akmal
Wahab Riaz
Abdul Rehman
Umar Gul
Saeed Ajmal
I think it's very important to keep at the most, one Akmal in the playing eleven at a time. Also, the reason I picked Taufeeq ahead of Farhat is well, pretty obvious. Anybody but Farhat!! But. I would rather keep Azhar down the order because he can stick around for a long period of time and Taufeeq's record surprisingly against South Africa is extraordinary..so it's worth it to open with him. With the flat pitches of Dubai, I think it would be a better option to go in with 2 specialist spinners in Rehman and Ajmal. Sami would be raped by the SA batsmen. Having seen Tanvir Ahmed bowl, he would be really useful in swinging conditions, but on a flat pitch, he just doesn't get enough movement or has enough pace to trouble the batsmen.

So your fifth bowler being hafeez would make 3 slow bowlers in the side......not to impressive pal
Its better to keep 3 pacers and 2 slow/spin bowlers..
i don’t know why they think Abdul Razzaq is only T20 or ODI player They are wasting such a talented player At least he can stand on the pitch for whole day.
Lets see Pakistan will play for 5 days or not
