I agree with you Saby...But I think the reason Pakistan is opening with Afridi, is because they think no one else is capable of opening. they didn't even select Saeed in the team, and Afridi is at least a better opener then Taufeeq Umer...The one person who can open in place of Afridi is Faisal Iqbal, but to get Faisal in the team, Pakistan need to drop someone...and I think thats where they hit the block...because the whole team is playing, and they don't want to drop anyone....I can only think of one person who should be dropped in place for Faisal is Younis Khan...But I think he has played too many good innings for Pakistan to be dropped for a youngster. If Saleem Elahi doesn't do well in the 2 remaining matches, I think he should be dropped for Faisal...because one centuary, and 4 poor performences isn't good enough to have a place in the team! But lets hope Saleem Elahi can re-create the magic of the 2nd ODI.

What can I do?
there is one more person i can think of and that is Saqlain. I know its a hard choice but as we have said that we didnt need Razaq at all if wasim waqar shoaib fire simultaneuosly. So we had this extra bowler and he should bowl then 10 overs remain and those overs can b bowled by Afridi. As when it comes to head2-head b/w Saqlain and Afridi, Afridi has the advantage of his unpredictable batting talent and these days he is bowling as wll as saqlain , if not better! I know its the hardest choice but lets see what happens :k: I dont care if they drop younis or Saqlain or none at all as long as Pakistan wins :k:
Although I do want Faisal to Play instead of Younis Khan or Saqlain...But I doubt its gonna happen. Pakistan will most likely play both Saqlain and Khan.

In place of Younis Khan???? What are you talking about.....he even scored more runs than faisal in that match they lost to some local team.Faisal probably scored 1...He is good but can't lose a player like youhana or younis for bringing him back! And we need saqlain too....There is no use of bringin any other batsman...jab chalte hein to chalte hein nahi to upar se lekar neeche tak sab double figures mein jaane se pehle lurhak jaate hein....
I have nothing against Saleem Elahi but the century he scored was not on a fast track. I am saying he is very vulnerable when playing on boucy fast tracks. Whatever happens though Faisal deserves a chance in the side after the failure of big guns. Inzimam was very unlucky in the last match. But Youhana and Younis need to play more responsibly.
As for Sami and Saqlain switch, we already have Afridi in the side who is bowling very well these days, so on fast track we should take a chance and see what Sami does. He has not dissapointed so far.

Sami should come in for Saqi, we already have a quality spinner in the team, there is no need for 2.
Younis Khan hasn't done any wonders in the previous 3 matches, we need a solid opener, and unfortunatly Afridi is no where close to being labeled as an opener, he is exciting but not dependable.
Other than that Pakistan should win tommorrow, batting first they have to atleast put 180 on board than the bowlers will take care of the rest.
