Craig to Younis Khan, FOUR, tossed up again, and Younis gets that long stride out and converts it into a full-toss and sweeps it away past the square leg umpire, who moves swiftly away from the ball
Re: Pak V NZ First test
Declaration may come after cross ing 500 lead
Re: Pak V NZ First test
Younis gone and Sarfraz in
34.2
Sodhi to Younis Khan, OUT, goes for the sweep again, straightens from off stump and hits him on the front pad. Very similar to the Azhar Ali dismissal, and the umpire gives it out. Younis reviews. He's a long way forward, and the ball turned a touch more than the Azhar dismissal. That one was hitting in line and hitting a big chunk of off stump. This one, it's umpire's call on both counts, and only clipping the outside of off stump, but the result is the same and the batsman has to walk back.
Younis Khan lbw b Sodhi 28 (45b 2x4 0x6) SR: 62.22

McCullum to Mohammad Hafeez, 2 runs, length ball, angling in towards off stump, and he goes on the back foot and punches it firmly towards the cover boundary. They run two, Hafeez performs the sajda, pressing his forehead to the turf, and Misbah calls his players in. Pakistan have declared.

Re: Pak V NZ First test
Does anyone thinks that Pakistan gave them too many overs for the runs?
I hope not, but if any two or even any one of their batsmen settle down for long inning than target is sitting duck. I think, Pakistan did same thing, gave too many overs to Australia for runs, but fortunately we won. With runs and overs remaining, chances of draw is almost remote, so it would be stupid for New Zealand to think for draw.
InshaAllah Pakistan would win again, but as far as I am concerned, I think either Pakistan should have forced follow on, or should have given target no less than 4 runs per over.
Re: Pak V NZ First test
REally brave decision. Hopefully it will not back fire
