With just 2 days before the 3rd test i thought i should make this thread
New Zealand squad Tim McIntosh, Martin Guptill, Daniel Flynn, Ross Taylor, BJ Watling, Grant Elliott, Brendon McCullum (wk), Daniel Vettori (capt), Daryl Tuffey, Iain O’Brien, Chris Martin, Jeetan Patel, Tim Southee.
Watling Has Been Called For The 3rd Test Instead Of Fulton
This is going to be a flat wicket according to the reports. It has yielded only 2 results in last 7 test matches. So expect a high score in the match but looking at the batting of both these teams, we might see a result. But you never know.
^^ Well on your stats...look at match # 1868 - where England won...
it maybe quite similar but not as extravagant of a 2nd innings total as england did...
good time for fittay moonh farhat, butty boy and malikay to create more excuse for themselves..but maybe not, since they are already in the Aussie tour as announced, maybe they won't have any motivation....

Malik might not be playing in this.... Faisal would be given the chance...
good point... but why are you comparing them over such a long time period. 2 tests is a lifetime.
we should compare them over 10 minute intervals. actually yeah, you're right. there was a ten minute interval in which Imran Farhat looked like a million bucks and Malik sucked.
my bad. you're right. Farhat rocks. Maliks blows. off with his head. how dare he fail in two whole games.
^ yep - the thing with malik is sometimes he comes thru with a score that is really needed - however right now they are both *lapariyay*and then can be replaced with other non-tested or less tested players...
and my point is that you don't compare players over 2 games. look at their overall records. Malik is no Inzi or Yousuf. and yes, he has failed on this tour. but at least the guy has a brain and is generally willing to graft even though he failed here.
and with Farhat, I'm positive if you got doctors to give Farhat a medical checkup, everything would came back fine - except for a missing brain. I'm not talking about a small/tiny brain or a non-functional brain. I'm talking about the WHOLE brain MISSING! that is what Farhat is...
the guy has learned nothing since he started playing and he never will. has no discipline, no will to learn, no commitment, no desire... I would pick any opener - be it Butt, Khurram Manzoor, Taufeeq Umar, Yasir Hameed, Wasti, Elahi, Nasir Jamshed, etc before him. only Imran Nazir or Shahid Afridi are worse than Farhat in terms of discipline/technique/mental strength. I bet even the openers of the women's cricket team could do better than Farhat.
and are you seriously going to tell me that Farhat is a safer fielder than Malik? Malik made mistakes. he had a bad game. but I know who I want to be under the ball when it's is coming down for a catch and that would always be Malik.
Farhat is an awful catcher on the other hand. he is completely unreliable. the guy is always hit and miss with catches - has been since he debuted. makes me wonder who is the genius who puts him in the slips of all places.
^^^^
well v know that malik aint dropped for Aus series......but he is dropped frm the last test against NZ.............If faisal plays instead of him and performs and surely he is gona play against Aus in 1st test too

Mohammad Aamer and** Umar Gul** have been a serious threat to New Zealand through the series, but they might also be a danger to each other. During the second Test the pair reportedly got into a heated verbal scuffle on the third day, and both were fined heavily as the team management tried to hush up the altercation. Keep an eye out for when they are next bowling in tandem, or batting together.
Ian O'Brien has been charging in all series, into the wind, with a dislocated finger. Now comes his last Test and he goes into it as the joint-highest wicket-taker, just off his highest Test score. There was another setback, after he went off early from fielding practice, presumably worried about his injured finger. But what odds he overlooks that all and turns all that determination and effort into a series-winning hand?
