Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
Agreed. Must bat until lunch tomorrow and score at least 70 more runs. Leave a deficit of about 50, which will make NZ bat until well into tomorrow morning. They'll need to score about 250 until lunch tomorrow, give Pakistan a target of 300 to chase in 2 sessions. Or they may not be comfortable with giving a 300 runs target since Pakistan had sucessfully chased a similar target against Sri Lanka a few months ago.
So the first order of business for Pakistan is to survive until lunch tomorrow and add another 70 runs.

Southee to Ehsan Adil, OUT, that's it! no chance for Adil there. He stays back to a straight delivery that comes in a touch, just enough to beat the inside edge. That would have hit the top of middle
Ehsan Adil lbw b Southee 0 (6m 6b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

111.6
Southee to Yasir Shah, OUT, Early strike for New Zealand. That's the end of Yasir! He was meaning to leave that delivery but waited too late to pull his bat in, the ball slides off the face of the bat straight to the keeper
Yasir Shah c †Watling b Southee 2 (20b 0x4 0x6) SR: 10.00
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
Now Quickly reached to 306/8 coz of some boundaries from Sarfraz and Zulfiqar, wondering why Zulfiqar batting order is not ahead of Yasir and Adil.
1306/8
115.3
Southee to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, outside edge off a full toss but that's slides between gully and second slip. Works perfectly for Sarfraz. The deficit is now in two figures
114.3
Boult to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, looks for the cutter but Sarfraz spots it, cuts it beautifully between gully and backward point
114.2
Boult to Sarfraz Ahmed, no run, digs it short and the batsman ducks under it
114.1
Boult to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, this is pretty! What a shot.. He whips it from outside off and times it so well that the fielder from mid-on had no chance, races to the boundary at cow corner
113.6
Southee to Zulfiqar Babar, FOUR, oh wow! Babar is not going to die playing the waiting game.. He clears his front leg out and hammers it through mid-off
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
I must say great batting by Sarfraz :k: another fifty under pressure from 70 balls only
117.3
Southee to Sarfraz Ahmed, 2 runs, gets to his half-century with a neat punch through midwicket off a low full toss. It’s Sarfraz’s fifth half-century, he is carrying on with the good form
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
This is last pair who can produce some runs on scorecard.
Zulfiqar is playing very sensibly and he should be promoted to No. 8
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
Sarfraz has scored most runs than any other wicket keeper.
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
Sarfraz has taken single on 2nd last ball
312/8
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
Zulfiqar out on last ball
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
Pakistan has quickly lost last 3 wickets, the weakest tail in the world.
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
Nice Shot by Sarfraz but then single :(
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
NZ last 4 wickets added 125 Runs
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
Again 2 balls for Rahat, This is 3rd time he is facing last 2 balls of every over.
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
So its drinks.
First hour, 13 overs 38 Runs and lost 3 wickets.
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.
Rahat Ali now faced last 2 balls of last 4 overs.
I think Sarfraz should go for some boundaries but I think they are also trying to spend some more time on wickets.
Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

Now Rahat to face complete over
