I don't know how well Sami is going to do today, but I have always considered him our Ajit Agarkar. He'll produce wicket taking deliveries every now and then, but even on his best days, he's absolutely rubbish in between his wickets. Unlike many good bowlers, who build up pressure, and then eventually get a wicket, he bowls rubbish, gives away lots of runs, and then all of a sudden will get a wicket.

So he can play the role of a good backup bowler, who'll take wickets when there are other strike bowlers around, but we need someone like Asif to build up the pressure. He's a real test bowler.

Oh by the way, let's criticize the bowlers without getting emotional or criticizing the team on the whole. We have only had 30 minutes of play in a five day match, there's plenty of cricket to be played here.

sorry about the double posts...my computer froze and i kept pressing the submit post button.

Umar Gul is wayward but the deliveries which he gets right are threating...he looks like a wicket taking bowler...on the other hand...Sami is still the same...rather i think he got worse.

11.3 Umar Gul to Trescothick, no run, cuts back sharply, bounces on Trescothick too, huge shout from Akmal and the bowler. Looks like it his shirt or trousers, or both, but nowhere near the bat. Good ball though. Great decision from Steve Bucknor
