Excellent day for Pakistan. It would have been much better if Akmal hadn't lost it right at the end, that was a shocker. But considering Pieterson dropped him, I guess it was poetic justice anyway.
I would rank our batting performance FAR higher than England's. Our batting was chanceless, had no assistance from the umpires, the wicket was harder to bat on and most importantly had the pressure of trailing by 500 odd runs.
From the looks of things, Pakistan will inshallah get somewhere close to 450. Who knows, if Afridi hits it off and Moyo manages to stick around even longer we might even get to 500. I wouldn't rule out an England win just yet, will have to see how aggressively England go about setting a target and much depends on how bad the pitch deteriorates. One thing is for sure, a fascinating day's play awaits us tomorrow. Especially if Afridi gets going :D.

sami sucks..he was never accurate now he has dropped in pace too...flintoff will be back for england in the next match ,pakistans' bowling attack does'nt look good.

^ Will talk about the second test later when it starts. Right now we have seen another fabulous fight back by Pakistan . Batting second, trailing by 500+ runs in the first test match is never easy.
You can't even compare Yousuf's knock with Collingwood and Cook's inning. It was a chanceless innings of sheer elegance against unattrative innings full of chances and faulty technique.
Akmal should have stayed and his dismissal has now exposed Afridi too soon. Ideally it would have made more sense for him to come around 450 or 475 tomorrow.
At this stage Pakistan can be bowled out even before 450 or if Afridi clicks then it will be a treat to watch Pakistan scoring 550+ runs tomorrow before lunch, Inshallah. If that happens Pakistan will have an outside chance of exerting some pressure on England.

Excellent comeback by Pakistan and Mohammad Yousuf deserves the credit. He just hit the most classy and elegant innings of the summer. Truly the most delightful player to watch.

Mashalla wonderful inning by M Yousuf and Inzi, I wish Inzi and Akmal had stayed for 30-40 runs more each which would have taken us to 470-490 for loss of 7 wickets then a little blast off could have taken us to close in on Eng’s score. Anyway, 2 more days to go, lets see how far we can score and how Eng replies.

Lovely day indeed for Pakistan.. It all depended on Inzi and Yousuf.. They showed their class. Yousuf innings is a treat to watch. Inzi, Akmal both played well indeed.
It comes to Afridi now. His wicket is the most crucial now. He needs to stay, Yousuf needs to make at least 250. a big double or triple century is due by Yousuf.
INSHA ALLAH, we will see some batting from Pakistan. and further frustration from England.

Magnificant Yousuf!!! His innings was a complete class and he totally threw eggs on those who doubt him as a batsman anymore. It was sheer lazy elagance and his off-side stroke play was sublime. wonderful contributions from Inzimam and Akmal and hopefully Afridi and MoYo can push the innings even closer to England one.
Once again a fight back :-)

Ideally I wud like to get past total of England, but thats wishful thinking, if we can get to around 450-465 I'll be satisfied.
