It is learnt from reliable sources that Pakistan will be testing a new shaheen series missile which has the capability to evade any Anti missile defence system on tuesday or late in the week, thus making Indian Missile defence system which india has purchased recently useless. this New Missile has speed of around 6000 Kilometers and can hit a target at 800km range.
if tests successful it would not only give pakistani Missiles further edge over indian, but also will make indian’s milions of dollars investment in Arrow & green pine anti missile defence system go in vein.

ukhalil doesn't it have more than a 800Km radius? I heard it was 1,000Km?

Its an Anti-ballistic missile and it can intercept missiles up to 800 km...
Jang English edition posted an article containing valuable info about this Shaheen 3, I read it there it was 800km, I haven't heard 1,000 km...
However, this missile is gonna show those cowards indians what we are made of... India also bought the Arrow missile defence, but if Shaheen 3 is a success, the arrow missile defence is nothing compared to it.
But I still have a hard time believing that pak has a Missile defence system with upto range of 800km... You need a lot of money and tech to build this but somehow, pak met those requirements.
ISLAMABAD: President Pervez Musharraf, after consulting the top brass, has approved the test of another ballistic missile of the Shaheen series, it is learnt.
According to highly placed sources, the test will be carried out tomorrow (Tuesday) at 9am. The new terminal guided system missile will have solid fuel with a range of 800 kilometres and a speed of 100 kilometers per minute. After its successful test, all the Indian defence sites will be within its range. The accuracy of the new missile is stated to be between 25 to 50 metres.
The missile will take off from Sonmiani test site near Karachi and after rising 200 metres high in the air will hit its target near Sandhak, an area close to the Pak-Afghan border. Civil and military monitoring teams present at the target site will submit their reports about the missile’s accuracy.
A team of scientists headed by Dr Samar Mubarak, chairman of National Engineering and Scientific Commission, has already reached the test site Sonmiani. The Vice Chief of Army Staff, Gen Muhammad Yousaf, Karachi Corps Commander and other high defence officials will be present at the site to witness the test of the missile having terminal guided system. They will also meet the engineers and technicians who developed the missile. Pakistan test-fired Hatf-IV (Shaheen) on Friday last which was responded to by India by testing its Akash missile only hours after the Pakistani missile test.

Ok, so did we use nukes to achieve our target in Kargil? Nothing will stay that way, we will keep causing trouble, as Kashmir is ours, and you will be faced with the same trouble thats been haunting you for 50+ years...

If it would not have been for the missiles and the nukes India would have had the “decisive battle” long ago….India knows as it outmatches Pakistan in conventional weapons, Pakistan would surely reply with a nuke attack and whip out millions of “masala dosas”.

Abdali, not only jang but many other high ranked sources reported Shaheen 3 has a range of 800km and can intercept missiles. It has a speed of 100km/min. The pakistani government reported the samething also…
This missile itself isn’t an ABM, Its capable of intercepting another ABM such as india/israel Arrow system!
I think Pakistanis who come up with these names for missiles are not very bright. What the hell have Ghori or Shaheen done for Pakistan? A name should mean something and should have some purpose. I propose that naming convention should be changed to reflect the diverse religious and ethnic make up of the country: Here are some name ideas.
Sunni missile
Shia Missile
Esai Missile (medium and long range)
Ahmadi Missile (capable of carrying nuclear payload)
