Pak needs to do more: Germany

Looks like more countries believe that Pakistan is not doing enough? Looking at the last paragraph about ‘a stable Pakistan was in the common interest of India and the world and also for the reason that the situation in Afghanistan was closely linked to that of Pakistan*’*, is quite interesting. What else the Pakistani government should do to make sure the terrorists based in Pakistan do not harm other countries?

**Pak needs to do more: Germany **

Dec. 12: Banning the Jamaat-ud-Dawa might not be sufficient, German interior minister Wolfgang Schauble said here on Friday. He expected Pakistan to also focus on preventing future terrorist attacks.

“Sometimes it is not enough to forbid a (terrorist) organisation,” Mr Schauble said responding to a query whether a ban on the Jamaat-ud-Dawa was enough given fears that it could morph into an outfit by another name just as the Lashkar-e-Tayyaba (LeT) resurfaced as Jamaat-ud-Dawa after the LeT was banned in 2002.

“Maybe it is not sufficient,” he added, and suggested Pakistan to cooperate “100 per cent” against terrorism.

He said the terrorists wanted to “create an atmosphere of provocation and reaction” and he commended New Delhi for acting responsibly.

Getting Pakistan to cooperate fully was “a better way” than taking recourse to the military option, he said in response to a question about India’s right to act in self-defence.

Mr Schauble said a stable Pakistan was in the common interest of India and the world and also for the reason that the situation in Afghanistan was closely linked to that of Pakistan.

Re: Pak needs to do more: Germany

Whoever's idea was it to attack Mumbai was a crazy one ? Now Pak cannot deny that its hands are clean in regards with the unrest in Afghanistan ?

Re: Pak needs to do more: Germany

What he is saying is that do not try the "Ban the group, release the leaders after 3 weeks and allow them to regroup under a new name" type drama that Musharraf did.

If we had a REAL crackdown on jihadis under Musharraf, we would not be here.

kash people of Pakistan understand in how deep shyt we are :(

Re: Pak needs to do more: Germany

Yes Pakistan will have to do a lot more....laawwwt more. They have to start officially investigating and cleaning up ISI which seems to have become majority rogue. They have to complete review of every so called religious and charity organizations many of which keep feeding money and boys to the jihadi culure.

Germany?lol

the country that produced hitler hahahaha

BTW Schäuble is the same German dude whose party CDU goes into polls with the slogan:

“Kinder statt Inder”,

loosely interpreted: Do not bring any more indians to Germany, have more kids instead.

:rotfl:

Re: Pak needs to do more: Germany

Politics is one of those things were morality means jack****. A weak government in Pakistan that is consistently under pressure means it will do whatever the US and EU want it too. There are times I wish we had true leaders in the nation. Not like Zardari and his cronies. Hell Musharraf had more backbone then this .

HaaN CM yaar, we need true leaders with spine - party association is irrelevant.

Re: Pak needs to do more: Germany

Sadly Danday we can't do it with this current lot or their children. Those who grow up on corruption and the ills of society don't really consider it a sin or something wrong. I am of the strong opinion you need a general culling of our elite. Political, military and feudal.

Send them to Gaunatanamao, I say.

But no. Thats too comfortable a place comparatively … :hmmm:

Send them to india instead! :hehe:

Re: Pak needs to do more: Germany

what's wrong with these Germans? hasn't Pakistan done enough already? no more terrorism please

Re: Pak needs to do more: Germany

CM pai jaan, Germans don't like indians.

They have started to shift their call centers in india, so that indians stop invading Germany.

Fair enough I would say!

are you kidding me? lol!
