Sami Rahman saab The movie which you are talking about...Zeher...which has the song "Woh Lamhey" by Atif...does not star Meera. Yes it is produced by Mahesh Bhatt but this is not the movie which Meera is in. The movie which stars meera is called "Nazar" not "Zeher"

The tour season is on and Pakistani bands seem to be taking full advantage of the Pak–India cultural exchange and peace talks. Strings are already a name in India with many award appearances and a couple of MTV Award and Sahara Award nominations. Atif Aslam's song is enjoying popularity in India but not Atif himself. Though, he will start on it soon. Fuzon is another Pakistani band, which is big in India. They have already toured India four times in the past five months and were in Dubai for a concert at the Dubai Country Club. Here, Pakistan's three leading bands (Junoon, Strings and Fuzon) were performing together for the first time. The concert was held open-air and was attended by a crowd of about ten thousand people, according to the details provided by the band management. Fuzon also performed 'Nal Nal' which is a Punjabi song from their forthcoming album. According to Shallum Xavier, their new album will be out by in May, after which he will start working on a solo album. No, Fuzon isn't breaking up guys; so don't worry. This album will be Shallum's personal expression. Just like Social Circus is Ali Azmat's. Let's hear it for expressing yourself...
Lately, the trend of local bands singing in English has taken a grip. A band from Isloo, Corduroy, which is now familiar in the music world released their album which was entirely in English. Then a duo from Peshawar, Sajid and Zeeshan have also released two songs which are fast catching up on the local charts. Now Corduroy is also working on releasing their new video. The song is titled, 'Leeway' and is featured in their debut album The Morning After. Reportedly, the shooting has been done and the video is going to be out soon. The Morning After was released a few months ago and is doing well with the English medium types. English songs have never done well, because most people in the country can't speak the language. However, with Pakistan opening it's borders, especially with India, our bands touring the world and our music channels being viewed outside the country that status quo may well change soon.

^ really? I thought jal's aadat was released in 03. Anyways, Atif's album was pretty much just the same songs sung in his voice. And I had heard that new ones were expected sometime this summer. Oh well.

the single aadat was released in july 03 online while the album got released in sep 04. atif released his jalpari in aug 04.
