What a way to start out a tournament for Pakistan.
We lost the match by 7 wickets. Once again Waqar Younis makes a bad decision and sends Anwar to #3, just like the Sharjah final in April.
Wasim looked great, he only gave 7 runs from 6 overs. One more mistake by Younis was that he didn’t bring back Wasim instead he brought himself and gave more runs.
After a long time, Shoaib Akhtar also bowled really well. Yousuf Youhana and Razzaq were the only 2 decent batsman, Anwar just got unlucky and was caught.

…shoaib did well too but at timez was guilty of bowling fast and not maintaining the length…razaQ…i dunno what happen 2 him…he was totally off the mark…got pounded all over the area…so did waQar…his decision of not to bring afridi early cost him dearly…anywayz match is over..sri lanka deserve all the praises…2morrow is another day and another match…letz hope 4 the better!..

The team was rusty but still a below par and bad performance. Hopefully they will wake up and respond to the challenges.
