This tour is now officially “jinxed” and I refuse to celebrate its occurrence until a clear-cut resolution is in order.
BCCI Congress & BJP + The Indian Judiciary = High Profile Govt. officials could not finalized the details and showed off a non-hurried statement and arrangements, TV Broadcasting issues are still pending for ‘last minute’ verdict by the courts as it has become the practice now.
The whole system is in the frenzy of protecting their own commercial and political interests, while Pakistan sits on the side and watches the tussle when there’s no tussle.
PCB & ICC = for showing off a “Slave to the Master” attitude with tremendous flexibility and relaxed attitude to the Indian Board. (I wonder if same could have been given to Pakistan in a reverse situation)
They ^ ^ are all responsible of mis-management of an important series between the 2 SENIOR MEMBER BOARDS of the ICC.
These are the sorry affaires of ICC who some how carry no weight in such a scenarios despite having a manifested legislation to control/condition the member boards and slam fines if needed.
May be ICC should consider “shrinking” it self to a “Match Referee” or “The 3rd Umpire” portfolio only. Extremely disappointed with Ehsan Manni’s role in all this.
