Honestly it would be really funny if they both come back home and say screw the damn World Cup let’s just play a series of our own. 5 ODI’s and 3 Tests. Right in the middle of the world cup. Show the ICC that if 1 upset can throw us out of the world cup then we’ll play our own series and let’s see where the sponsors wanna be and where the viewers are. ICC would obviously see this as a move to sabotage the world cup and say those matches wont be official. Both boards can say Scre you we’re playing it, you wanna call 'em official fine, you dont wanna call them official thats fine too. I am sure nothing of this sort would happen but it would really funny to see if something like that happens and how ICC responds to it.
Play out fixed matches so at the end of 4 games the series score should be 2-2 and the decider should be played the same day as the world cup final.
They shoudl arange aseries and than both teams should line up at the ground and in front of their supporters "chullo bur panni mein doob kar mur jayein".
hahah it'd teach ICC a lesson...the ICC itself would fix it from then on that pakistan and india make it to the semi of every world cup after that :D
Well, actually the format of this World Cup was designed so that every major country would reach the Super 8 stage. But I guess ICC underestimated our ability to self-destruct?

They should perhaps stop playing each other so regularly, thats why the level of game has declined. Too much cricket on dead pitches and same players getting used to opposition.
