I don’t think dressing decently is subjective as such, your religion and cultural norms dictate to a certain extent what is decent and what is not. If this magazine is about rich Pakistanis, and lets face it, they wouldn’t be in it if they were not Pakistanis, then what exactly is the point of discussing french labels and wearing revealing western clothes? (which they are by Average Pakistani standards)

It still is quite subjective.. Someone one from an Islamic forum might look at the ‘what are you wearing’ thread here on GS and think most in there aren’t dressed ‘decently’ as they’re not wearing hijab..

Don’t those women in the Pak magazines wear eastern and western anyway.. I don’t know that much about it but seems as tho there’s just 10x more attention on them when they do choose to wear western and/or revealing.. Women in other countries (inc some Muslim ones) don’t seem to get criticised as much when they choose to wear western clothes.. If they want to experiment sometimes and do something a bit different I don’t see the big deal.. As they usually are more exposed to other cultures it’s only natural that they’d like to mix it up a bit..
