On August 9, 2008, Abrar Ul Haq along with Josh, Tariq Tafu and local bands gave a memorable performance at the Pak Day LA™ 2008, Exposition Park, Los Angeles. As always the event was free for public. It was the first time that Abrar performed for Jashn-e-Azadi mela in LA. An estimated 20K+ crowd were at hand that evening, electrified and brimming with patriotic fervor. The mela went on till past midnight.
