abt 4 weeks ago the pakistan national side beat india at football 1-0, it was an asian tournament held in bangladesh,football is a more popular sport around the world, so we should be happy we beat them at football…just thought to tell u ppl this to make you happy.

we have always had a stronger football side and have had had our name written on the south-asian trophy on many occasions.
i’ll tell you what gets our footballers motivated on the pitch, not the nature of the opponents , not india being the arch-rivals etc. ITS…
**kicking the ****E out of the football, as our footballers have been made a football by the governemnt of pakistan on many occasions when strict sanctions have been imposed on them which they have to abide under all circumstances and as paki’ governemnt take librties and boss them about they take their own back on a spherical chamra full of air and knock some sense into the football by giving it a good hammering.]

actually we have not always been a stronger football side. India has been consistently ranked higher in FIFA rankings, not that either of these countries is in any respectable spot in terms of world rankings.
Good show by pakistani team and good to see they are improving, but let the facts be portrayed correctly.
If they can take out the politics of the football selection, we have a lot of talent and could become a good team atleast in asia.
the physical training our players go through is pathetic, they dont have the strength,s peed or stamins needed for world class play. Its not all their fault but the football authorities in Pakistan. coaching is of mediocre level and the internal politics have resulted in such lame situations as the team being thrown out of the tournament because 2 rival factions sent their own teams to a tourney. The officials should have been slapped around in public for that.
We need to go a long way. there is plenty of raw talent, but raw talent alone is simply not enough to be a seriosu team.
whenever I hear something about Pakistani football team, only one thing comes into my mind. jab taliban nay pakistani football team ki tind kar di thi.
anyways, its good to hear Pak won. and who cares about FIFFA ranking.
dont forget the marching on the donkey part infront of a mass of mullahs… and what it made it even better was that this was all done to promote good faith among the 2 countries

it was "a" pakistani team, not the pakistani team :) the team was actually some local team for the town of Chaman who went over.
taliban just got pissed off cuz they lost, the shorts were not a problem until they lost..or maybe they lost because the afghan players were distracted by teh shorts and sight of knees :) who knows.
who cares about fifa ranking.. many do :) dont we care about cricket rankings, or we just live match to match victory to victory :)
