Attention of the PCB, through the media was drawn to the alleged misconduct of some of the players before they departed on the tour to Singapore. The Chairman issued the instructions to hold formal investigations on return from Singapore. Accordingly the Manager conducted the inquiry and it was found that the whole episode was grossly exaggerated. As there was no evidence except that some of the female fans followed the players and barged into their rooms, it was recommended by the Manager to dismiss the allegations. However, the Chairman considers that the players should have acted with more responsibility and prevented any unauthorized entry to their rooms. The PCB has, therefore, decided to fine Shahid Afridi, Attiq-uz-Zaman and Hasan Raza Rs. 50,000 each and they will also not be considered for the forthcoming ICC Knock Out Tournament in Kenya.

I persoanlly am very happy to hear about Afridi getting kicked out.
I don’t think he has the quality for playing at the international level for pakistan.

Imran Nazir is a much better choice for the Pakistani opening batting.
Yaar, I don't know about putting Younis Khan over Ijaz Ahmed. He was brilliant in Singapore. I felt the same way about him but he's become a really great batsman. And plus Younis Khan is more of a test batsman.
I personally don't like Ijaz.
He is waaaaayyyyy to inconsitent even for the pakistan team.
Younis Khan needs the exposure to play in the future.
Ijaz doesn't have any more years in him - he is around 30 plus.

A Pak, SA semi and a AUS SL semi.
PAK and SA will be tough but we will make it through and face AUS in final.
From there it is in the hands of ALLAH.
