India won the toss and elected to bat in a three-day tour match against the Pakistan A side on Saturday at the Bagh-e-Jinnah ground. The 12-a-side match is the only practice game for India before the first test from Jan 13.

ndia were 39 for no wicket on the first day of their warm-up match against Pakistan A at Lahore. Gautam Gambhir had made 23 and Wasim Jaffer 16 after Rahul Dravid won the toss and chose to bat.

Let's just wait till we get some, i think it's gonna be pretty useless bcoz we are definitely gonna give them green tops to deny any match practice, it's only good for denting their confidence. We will have to wait and see if we can make them struggle :)

NIce to see every bastman getting run under his belt before the test match. Saurav and Sehwag also scored run in Ranji. It is about time every bastman gets into form. If even 4 of top 6 are in form then problem is solved. I am worried about batsman's form.

i think this match has proved the fact tht i kinda had been suspecting for quite sometime. the worth(or lack of it) of Umar Gul. on what seems like a pretty good pitch for seamers as well Umar has been as toothless as a 75 yr old man. for a guy whom everybody was expecting a lot out of, gul has been a sad disappointment.
another spooky feature being the fact tht all the indi batsmen hav scored a half century except for dhoni(who is not a batsman BTW).
i hope shabby and co(or shud it be inzi & co) do a better and more respectable job than the A-side.
looking forward to the first test eagerly...
