Re: Pak A v/s Eng XI

Well thats cuz they took Mohammad Asif out of the attack and brought in Arshad Khan instead. Batsmen are taking full advantage.

Sincerely,
Captain Lota

Re: Pak A v/s Eng XI

One postive hopefully will come out of this is Arshad's exclusion from the tests.

Vaughan is probably facing kinda serious injury .. as it seems like on cricinfo.

Captain Lota

Re: Pak A v/s Eng XI

If PCB really do intend to shave the grass of these practice pitches for the real thing, then these warm up matches are pretty meaningless. In his CricInfo interview, Collingwood said something to the effect of we know its not going to be like this for the real deal so who cares.

Re: Pak A v/s Eng XI

what doesn’t make any sense to me is why would they do that? apnay paoun peh kulhari marne wali baat hai ye toh.

**Vaughan injury fear ahead of Test **](BBC SPORT | Cricket | England | Anxious wait for injured Vaughan)

England were concerned for captain Michael Vaughan ahead of the first Test against Pakistan starting on Saturday after he suffered a knee injury.

Vaughan was batting with Andrew Strauss when he twisted his right knee as he completed a run. He retired and was driven to hospital for a scan.

England were batting against Pakistan A in Lahore, in their final innings ahead of the first Test in Multan.

Vaughan hurt the same knee - and missed a Test - 18 months ago.

That happened when he was struck by a ball in the nets at Lord’s ahead of the first Test against New Zealand.

He also had surgery on the same knee in September 2002 to repair torn cartilage. Ironically, Vaughan’s injury opened the door on that occasion for Strauss to begin a Test career that has been studded with success. After collapsing at the crease on Monday in Lahore, Vaughan was attended to at the wicket and had the joint iced and strapped before being ferried to hospital.
