you cannot compare homosexuality to sexual/mental disorders that harmful to others. homosexuality is not an illness, but a variant of sexual orientation. straight people can have some weird erotic fetish as well, things that would seem very unnatural to some, but will they also be considered a disorder? not everyone has the same sexual expression. to call homosexuality an illness is rather derogatory, dont you think? especially when there is no way to ‘treat’ it. many psychologists have tried to come up with therapies, but none have been successful so far.
is the purpose of sex only to procreate? most people do it for pleasure, not necessarily for reproduction. when people use birth control, sex is purely for pleasure and not procreation. how is that any different from homosexual sex which is also not for reproduction?
and if homosexuality is not a choice, then why does it matter whos made for who? thats like telling a blind person, eyes are for sight so they better try to use them.
who decides that it’s not ‘good’? if it’s from a religious point of view, then no one can argue about that. however, if religious reasoning is not the factor, then there is nothing bad about it. it doesn’t harm anyone.
again, who are others to accept or reject? everyone has a right to express themselves, whether they are gay or straight.
thats your opinion. again you cannot compare pedophilia which is involving an innocent child to homosexuality which involves consenting adults who have the right to live their life.
how can someone engage in a sexual activity that he is not sexually attracted to? if homosexuality is not a choice, then how can it be possible for them to change it? just like you cannot imagine being with a man, they cannot imagine being with a woman. would you be able to mold your orientation??
right and wrong are a matter of opinion, your opinions dont have to match theirs. biologically, they are not wrong, they have a variant sexual orientation. would i be considered wrong if i were born deaf or blind?
you really seem to be bothered by their ‘noise’. care to explain what you mean by that? for centuries they have been persecuted and discriminated against, which they still are. how is discrimination against them any different from racial discrimination? no one chooses to be short, tall, white, black, gay, straight.
if they are allowed legally to get married in certain states and countries, is that considered noise?
