no one chooses to have mental or physical disorders, however, you cannot compare a disorder with sexual orientation. and if there were a ‘cure’ for it, I am sure everyone affected by it would try to cure it, most gays dont wish to be gay.
what is a gay person supposed to do? try to become straight when it’s not something they can control?

if a person is born with a defect or deformity, do we have a choice in not accepting?
if someone is gay, there is no way for them to cure it (atleast not so far). so what’s the point in in this comparison?
homosexuals in general dont force their behaviours, unless you mean rape which i m sure happens in homosexual community as well.
