Well,i came across these paintings .I have uploaded just a few with no idea who the artist(s) is.
So what do you think about them?
My views: The art work is unique, different from what i have seen * .But i dont really get what sect has been portrayed ,era and civilization to be particular about?*

I think I recognise a couple of them as the works of Gustav Dior (circa 19th Century) who made many famous paintings of the Arab world and Middle East, as well as biblical artwork too.
The others are a motley collection I like the Turkish war paintings and they are very famous but for the love of me I cant remember the Artists name.

Aah yes I remember the Turkish Millitary Paintings are by Osman Hamid Bey.
The Painting of Mehmet the second Fatih of Istanbul and showing him at the Gate of Ulluabatli Hassan is by the Austrian Painter Fausto Zonaro. 
Both are 19th Cenutry Artists by the way.
