Tip # 11 - Always take good care of your brush and clean them with Paint Thinner when you are done painting. Paint thinner can be purchased from any local art store and is used to clean brushes but also can be used to make paint a little thinner (as thin as ink to make things like tree trunk etc) AND can be used to clean ur clothes if paint falls on it.
Tip # 12 - Buying 2 or 3 of the same brushes will save you a lot of time and paint because you will not have to clean the brush everytime you want to use it for a different purpose on the same painting. For this reason, purchase atleast 2 of the same brushes and simply clean them at end of painting rather than in the middle to use it again and again.
Tip # 13- There is this thing called Cleaning Bucket and Screen. The screen is placed at bottom of paint bucket and then Paint Thinner is poured in it. Now everytime you clean your brush against the Screen, it’ll trap the paint in it. When you are done painting, leave the bucket overnight and look at it the next morning. All the paint will sink to the bottom, thus, giving you relatively new Paint Thinner to work with. You can do this many times before you clean your bucket and pour in new Paint Thinner. To save money, you can also use a normal metal can or any other bucket but make sure it is not too big but** is** big enough to hold the screen at bottom.
