why do we feel pain, why can’t it be something pleasant instead of pain? Imagine having ‘nice’ headaches

because if it was pleasant the brain would not signal the body to stop and rest and heal...imagine someone who has an injury on their feet..if they didnt feel pain and kept walking they would harm themselves...hence the pain mechanism :D

Why do we feel pain?
It s similar to why do we see things or hear sound?
Feeling pain is a way to protect us from painful sources as mentioned above.
"Pain" can be 'pleasant' for weird people.

isnt it a way of telling our body somehting is wrong? if it was pleasant we wud bang our head straight in the wall to have the pleasant effect.
