Pain in tummy during pregnancy

Hey

Is any one else or had anyone experienced pain in their lower tummy durin eArly days of pregnancy?

Im about 5 weeks n keep gettin tummy cramps but lately have been gettin sharpish pains on my left lower side of tummy its comes and goes??

I have heard its normal and called round ligament pain.

I got cramps too. I did go talk to my doctor, she said everything was good and not to worry about it. If the pain is too much, go see your doctor, otherwise I know some people do get them.

It's your uterus stretching. It's normal :)

I had this too and it was very worrying but the midwife said its totally normal unless you have bleeding with the cramps. As somegroovychick mentioned, it is your uterus stretching.

Yea I got them too and it happens during early weeks only. Dr told me that because your body is getting ready to hold and make a baby inside these things happen. I hope u feel better soon

yep this!!!

I once had such severe cramps while driving that I had to pull over and thought I was gonna die.. but it didnt last for more than 20 secs.. I was all fine shine after that but be prepared for these cramps.. they come and go..your organs are being pushed around to make room for uterus!!!
