Re: pain in breast

does she have a cyst? usually having cysts (benign ones) can cause discomfort and pain. if this has been going on since a long time, tell her to see a doctor. i am surprised why she hasn't already.

Re: pain in breast

They do feel sore, thats normal but she can still get it checked out

Re: pain in breast

^ The pain could be a result of hormonal changes. It is common for women to experience breast soreness close to their period....it's one of the PMS symptoms. An ill-fitting bra can also cause discomfort. Breast sensitivity can also a symptom of pregnancy.

If the discomfort is taking place frequently, then she should consider going to the doctor.

Re: pain in breast

Uhm isnt that what I said? lol

Re: pain in breast

Absolutely normal...No need to worry.

Re: pain in breast

I didn't read what you posted above me. LOL. That's alright. Often times, several people can post similar responses. The benefit is that repetition reinforces and emphasizes an important idea.

By the way, I'm Aisha as well :)

Re: pain in breast

AOA

Re: pain in breast

Re: pain in breast

ok i,ll tell her
poison ivy whta similar condition u had

Re: pain in breast

You know without going into the details let me just tell you that I had lot's of pain and I am the kind of person who becomes paranoid very easily so I went off to the GP but she told me that it's nothing. Ultrasound and physical examination etc was done and it was all clear. She just told me it could be hormonal changes and ill fitted bra and other reasons why it is paining. You are normal.

Re: pain in breast

I usually go through this every other month. Got it checked twice by the doctor, and she said it's perfectly normal for some women to experience this. This could be due to either hormonal changes. or water retention in the breats, especially if you have softer breats (more tissues in it!) yes, that's what she said. However, they are quite uncomfortable especially if you go running.

Re: pain in breast

Lymph nodes can be a reason too. I know of someone who had these....and then had to take antibiotics and it cleared the painful symptoms in the breast too.Lymph nodes can be a sign of of an infection in the body.

Re: pain in breast

Signs and symptoms of breast cancer may include:

A breast lump or thickening that feels different from the surrounding tissue
Bloody discharge from the nipple
Change in the size or shape of a breast
Changes to the skin over the breast, such as dimpling
Inverted nipple
Peeling or flaking of the nipple skin
Redness or pitting of the skin over your breast, like the skin of an orange
When to see a doctor
If you find a lump or other change in your breast — even if a recent mammogram was normal — make an appointment with your docto

Re: pain in breast

Tell her to get that checked out immediately.
