First of all, Lahore is right next to the border with India. However,Lahore was only used a reference point, it was shot down over Rajah Jang which if you can read a map, is even closer to the border. You really should find out what you are talking about as you are only making a fool of yourself.

Secondly, if you remember in 99, during Kargil, India tried to send two Migs’s across the LOC and they were immediately destroyed! Of course India hasn’t been so stupid to try that again!

Thirdly as for your dreams of IAF Mirages, the vast majority of IAF planes are old Soviet Migs. Go check yourself if you don’t believe me. Either way, the IAF crash even the newest Migs!

Indian MiG crashes in Srinagar
SRINAGAR, June 7: An Indian air force Mig fighter jet crashed in Srinagar on Friday due to technical problems. The pilot sustained minor injuries, police said. The plane crashed at the military wing of Srinagar’s main airport, a police official said.
“A technical snag erupted, which sparked (a) fire in the jet,” the official said. “The pilot ejected out before the jet crashed into the runway and has been shifted to hospital,” he added. An air force spokesman in New Delhi, however, denied the pilot was hurt.
Indian fighter jets, which had been roaring over Srinagar since morning, stopped flights over the city after the crash.
Amid high tension with Pakistan, Indian military planes have been flying over Srinagar at all hours in recent days, at times sparking panic among residents.
Fire engines rushed to douse the flames at Srinagar’s airport, which is under intense security. Three flights scheduled for held Jammu were cancelled, while those to New Delhi were put on hold. Senior police, army and air force officials headed to the airport to take stock of the situation.-AFP

have u ever thought,even after loosing 223 aircrafts in last 10 years,IAF still has 2:1 advantage over PAF,this is coz of HAL which quickly fills the void,caused due to attrition,so dont worry about the IAF attrition rate! u r talking about old migs,what about old french mirageIII and V!yea,mig21 and 27 forms 50% of iaf butIAF has quite a number of modern fighters(which pakistan lacks,only 20 some falcons r there).
PAF has total no. of 325 fighters!and IAF's modern fleet consist of
mig-29=70
mirage2000=40
su-30 mki=8 (and four r coming this very month)
su30k=18
jaguars=100
harriers=25
add it all urself,this list is excluding the mig23,27 and 21!

what surprises me is that,u people dont know the strength and quality of ur opponent! for u IAF attrition rate is the fav topic coz except that there is not anything else negative to talk about IAF!
So why IAF is not shooting down Pakistani planes ? I guess poor IAF cant even shoot down unmaned Pakistani planes and hence we can forget about the ones in hand of PAF pilots

you just can’t admit how crap the IAF is can you? you can’t admit the fact that IAF has highest crash rate in the WORLD actually means something! You can’t admit this occuring year after year, it is more than a coincidence!
When was the last time you heard of a PAF crash? PAF is one of the best in the world, I’m not saying that, Western experts say it!

Pak has approx 40 F-16’s, not 20. 172 Mirage’s ,215 F-7’s and 42 Cobra Attack helis. Also 12 Alouettes if you count them as attack helis.

HEHE! Did it ever occur to you that when an AF that can’t keep its plane in the air, that is the biggest point?!! Of course according to you, IAF is awesome, and crashes only occur’s because ISI sabatoges their planes!
