PAF acquires 12 unmanned aerial vehicles

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) has handed over one dozen Predator-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), PAC Chairman Air Marshal Khalid Chaudhry said on Thursday.

He said Pakistan had acquired the capability to manufacture UAVs and had initiated indigenous production.

“We will manufacture more UAVs indigenously, keeping the PAF’s requirements in mind,” Chaudhry said. app

I’m glad Pakistan has made an early start in this field of producing UAVs indigenously. Atleast Pakistan won’t have to beg or rely on West for any of these futuristic babies during war-like crises.

AWC & two other private companies are creating UAV from 1990's, i don't why media is giving it such importance.
