I think the reason she's saying for unmarried girls to avoid it since your hymen CAN break is because not EVERYONE ends up with an open minded husband who wouldn't care and will believe the explanation. There are many weird ones who will make a big deal and that's exactly why so many of those procedures exist that now can fix your broken hymen for you.
