I really can’t understand why so many are anti-tampon for unmarried girls 
When I was a child I used to hear all that rubbish about how a girl can lose her ‘virginity’ (which in Islamic terms is only possible thru intercourse/sexual penetration) but didn’t think people actually had these attitudes anymore. Like iggle pointed out, horseriding, sports, I think even riding a bike can tear a hymen but in Islamic terms the girl is of course still a virgin. Really wish ppl would stop all this ‘symbolic’ rubbish, as if making a mess on someone’s bedsheets on ur wedding night is the be all and end all of life..
