Is this something y’all will be watching? Do you think it will be better than Bajirao Mastani? Will it even be worth watching considering the censorship SLB probably did after being attacked by right wing Hindu extremists?

I'll totally watch it...I like these Indian historic pics...even if they are horribly biased. I can already tell by the vibrant colors of the Rajputs versus the dark and cold colors of the muslims seljuks or Turks..I forgot what they were?...that its going to be severely biased based on the trailer. Their trying to show Allauddin Khilji as a mad man it seems...which i'm not sure how historically true that is..but don't hold your breath..

Yeah, I do not really expect a fair representation of Muslims in this film. It is especially a side-eye worthy thing to make considering the political climate of India right now. Like you said, the presentation of these two groups is practically showcasing a propaganda film with the "noble Rajputs" and the "savage Muslims"

Representation aside, you have to admit Ranveer looks pretty badass...you know who he reminds me of in this film...Jason momoa Khal Drogo look....
The movie seems like Game of Thrones Dothraki army and Troy combined...

I will say, period dramas always bring out the better acting in actors/actresses especially Ranveer. Besides some movies, he is practically typecasted into playing pretty two dimensional roles, but period dramas bring the best out of him. Ofc, it is a SLB film so the aesthetics are great. I don't expect any decent fight scenes though, if we are going to go off of what I saw in Bajirao Mastani.
