dh - makes the sound daal + hey = dhey … so obviously I am shocked when I read the word “padh” scattered all over the forum … Rh - is the hard R + air = makes the right sound for paRh - (read/study) …
I know in Bollywood transliteration they do this ‘dh’ - thing …
Do I have a point or am I just blowing hot air … …

situation hai… Its very difficult to write in Roman. If a person don’t know actual word and its pronunciation, roman confused it more

indian people dont know urdu alphabets, therefore majority of indian people write wrong roman urdu. if you are native speaker, you can guess actaul word.

^ I write r for soft rey sound and R for hard Rey sound ... but yes rh is acceptable ...
