Pack of Dogs

In 1816, during the British Raj , If a British soldier was told to march over a cliff, and never given the signal to halt, he would willing fully go over the edge. That’s called honor, discipline, character and integrity; Now Briton has come along way from such a remarkable army.
Today the world witnessed the characterless behavior of British troops; I was Gob smacked to see a complete 180 degrees change of attitude of Lieutenant Felix Carman. In front of the Iranian media, right before he boarded a plane to U.K, Lt. Felix thanked Iran, and her people, rather, he went as far as saying that the treatment given to them by Iranians was immaculate and extremely respectable. As soon as the Lieutenant reached the security of his pack (the word “pack” means “Pack of Dogs”) he started speaking a different language, his attitude was totally different and hostile towards Iran.

I think Eating “Punj kashi Naans”(bread) playing chess, sitting around as they would sit in big brothers house, the British soldiers captured in Iran did not do as bad as their counterparts, the Muslim combatants caught in Gitmo or Abu Gharaib Prison, At least the British had their clothes on.
I Think Iran should have applied all those “Humane” “non-torturing” tactics that the soldiers of Abu ghraib prison did in Iraq or the Gitmo soldiers do to the inmates.

Now for the common man on any country’s street with the exception of Briton, Lieutenant Felix statement before and after the incident seemed as a goon trying to cover his tracks with lies and a dishonorable behavior, two traits that are a norm for terrorists but not an army.

Re: Pack of Dogs

^^ Are you kidding me, they were made to wear those hideous three button suits! The orange jump suits look better than those things. They looked sharper in their uniforms today than in those ratty Iranian frocks. And what about the damn gift bags? Bunch of Iranian arts and crafts to remember the good times in Tehran? Give me a break.

Re: Pack of Dogs

I mean, even if they were treated well you can't expect them to be happy about being held captive- can you? Of course you're going to complain about it, that's one of the things we humans do best.

Re: Pack of Dogs

Everything in life is “relative”, speed, velocity, attitudes etc….
If you think it was “Right” for them to complain then what do you think about the abu gharib and gitmo inmates, will they do the “right” things if they carry out suicide bombings when they are freed???
