disappointed with the ending like everyone else, adarsh (btw whats with the weird name) had absolutely zero personality and depth of character, after treating his wife like crap, literally beating her black and blue all he had to say was a measly sorry and she fell in her arms?! wth! the only reason he even said that was because his love had left him already and he had no choice...hate these nonsensical endings which make women out to be punching bags for men (literally in this case) and encouraging victim mentality by rewarding the abuser.
^ With all due respect to Moomal & Sarmad, they copied story & dialogue for first 8-9 episodes from Salma Kanwal's novel without even acknowledging her and then drag the drama on their own without developing the characters properly and finally ending the drama in usual 'they lived happily thereafter' style.

well that explains why the story was going so strong in the first half and then just tanked down after that.
dramas plus points
Story line was good overall (kinda off at points)
good acting by everyone specially sameena peerzada, ahsan khan, meekal zulfikar (first time i saw his acting and i am impressed), juggan kazim...rest saba qamar, nosheen, firdous jamal and others were very good too.
ahsan khan did the role superbly. i have never liked him before but in this drama i was impressed by him. the way he portrayed "innocent face-black heart" character was indeed very good.
good direction by sarmad khoosat.
nice ost.
**
weak points**
babrik shah's acting wasnot impressive. his way of talking and dialogue delivery was too nasal therefore he failed to create an impression. i am glad they didnot drag his role.
lack of acting when samina ahmed gets to know that her daughter has been raped. its such a sensitive issue (specially for middle class families) that they should have shown her in a state of shock.
sasha (juggan) just went out of the drama like in seconds. that wasnot impressive at all. adarsh (meekal) who was dying to be with her didnot even stop her for once.
the ending wasnot good at all. if they had shown that sana (saba) had decided to live on her own and adarsh (meekal) is left all by himself then it would have been good.
ost was good but at times sanam marvi's voice just sounded too nasal and too much to the ear which destroyed the impact of the song.
OVERALL it was a good drama not a master piece but yes a good time pass and surely worth once a watch.
Very poor ending. Poor script in the second half. This drama had all elements of a B grade film - rape, murder, extramarital affair, a child that ones spouse doesn’t know of, domestic abuse, and overbearing parents, and a giril in love with an imaginary fiance she’s never seen. I mean I don’t even know where to start.
Samina Peerzada was at fault, and her children paid the price. I mean stupid childhood mangni, that your child doesn’t know of until he in his mid 20s, and he’s been raised in a progessive environment, where his childhood sweetheart/neighbor visits him every single day, and spends countless hours with him alone, and you apparently seem to love her too, and don’t realize what’s coming? How dumb. Her obsession with Saba was because of what she did to her own daughter, by giving her up, so now getting her son married to Saba was somehow salvation for that? Furthermore, when Sameena Peerzada comes to visit her DIL in faisalabad, she barely acknowledges her daughters presence, there’s no affection shown towards her.
Hassan could not act. He dialogues were OTT melodramatic, more suited for a girl. Hadd hoti hai
Meekal started off well, until his 180 turn towards his wife and then running to Juggun. How typical. He should’ve grown that spine earlier.
Juggun was good.
Saba can act well, and I wish they had given her a better ending as an independent woman raising a child on her own. Her so called husband didn’t want her from the beginning anyway.
Aadha Teetar aadha bater. Half cooked story and half baked characters. Dhitai ki hadd hoti hai. Even reminding on various forums to accredit that the drama was based on Salma Kanwal's novel Suhaagan, Hum TV team never accredit the same. They kept on following story and even dialogues of the novel till episode 8 and then start their own Raam-Leela without any sense.
I think after 8th episode the track of Samina Peerzada's daughter and her sense of guilt might also be taken from third grade digest novel. If they have creativity, the drama could have ended with a proper msg without destroying the characterization.
